Frequently asked questions

Getting started
How long does it take to set up?
About a minute. Your account starts with a working contact form — name, email, phone, subject, message — and its own share link. You can hand that link out before you have changed a single thing about it.
Do I need a website?
No. Every form is hosted here at its own address, so the link works on its own: an Instagram bio, an email signature, a WhatsApp message, a QR code on a leaflet. If you do have a site, one script tag draws the same form inside your own page.
Do I need a developer?
No. Sharing the link needs nothing at all. Embedding is the same job as adding an analytics snippet, and most site builders have a field for exactly this. If you would rather not touch it, ask us and we will install it for you at no charge.
Which platforms does the embed work on?
Anything that can render a script tag: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, React, Next.js, Laravel, plain HTML, and effectively everything else. For a platform that blocks third-party scripts there is an iframe snippet, and for a designer who wants full control there is the raw HTML.
Will it slow my site down?
The embed is deferred, so it never blocks your page rendering. Your content appears exactly as fast as it did before; the form draws after.
Can I try it before paying?
7 days, full access, no credit card. It ends by itself — if you do nothing, nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.
Building a form
What kinds of field can I add?
Short text, email, phone, number, website, date, a long message box, dropdowns, radio buttons, tickbox lists, a single tickbox, and hidden values. Drag them into the order you want, mark the important ones required, and set any of them to half width so two share a row.
What is a hidden field for?
Tagging where a submission came from. Put a hidden field with the value "spring-campaign" on the form you embed in one landing page, and every enquiry through it arrives labelled — without asking the visitor anything.
Can I change a form after people have used it?
Yes, and the live form changes immediately — the link, the embed and the raw copy all read the same definition, so there is nothing to re-paste into your website. Answers already collected keep the labels they were collected under, so an old submission still reads correctly after you rename a field.
Can I have more than one form?
Yes. How many depends on your plan — see the pricing page. People usually end up with a general enquiry form and one or two specific ones, because a quote request and a support question want different questions.
Can I turn a form off without losing anything?
Yes. Pausing keeps the link alive — visitors see "this form is closed" rather than a dead page — and every submission you already have stays exactly where it is. Deleting a form does not delete its submissions either.
Email and delivery
Why do I have to connect my own email?
Because it is the only way your notifications and auto-replies arrive from your own domain, which is what keeps them out of the spam folder. It also means you are never charged per email, and our relay can never be blocklisted for what somebody else's form sent. Settings has a dropdown for Gmail, Outlook and Brevo, or any SMTP host you already use.
What if I have not connected it yet?
Everything still works except the email. Submissions are saved, shown in your inbox here, exported to CSV and filed in your CRM exactly as normal — nobody is emailed about them until you connect a mail server, and the app tells you so rather than failing quietly.
Can I reply to the person who filled the form in?
Just hit Reply. The notification email sets Reply-To to their address, so your answer goes straight to them from your own mailbox, with no forwarding and nothing routed through us.
Can the form send an automatic acknowledgement?
Yes. Write the message once and it goes out in your business's name, with their own message quoted underneath. It is only sent when the form has an email field and they filled it in.
Submissions and the CRM
Is there a limit on how many people can submit?
No. Submissions are unlimited on every plan, including the trial, and they are never metered. A form that stopped collecting on your busiest day of the year would be worse than no form at all.
What happens to a submission after it arrives?
It is stored, emailed to you, optionally acknowledged to the sender, and turned into a CRM contact with the whole enquiry attached. From there it is one line to raise an invoice, and one more to record the payment as income.
What if the same person submits twice?
They stay one contact. Matching is on email and phone, so a second enquiry adds a second note to the person you already have rather than a second row you have to merge later.
Can I export everything?
Yes, to CSV, whenever you want, with a column for every field any of your forms has ever asked. Filter the inbox first and the export matches what you are looking at.
Can I delete a submission?
Yes. The CRM contact it created is kept — it may already have notes, invoices and payments hanging off it, and deleting a message is not a request to delete the customer.
Spam
Is there a CAPTCHA?
No, and there will not be. A CAPTCHA costs you real enquiries from real people, and the bots that matter get past them anyway. Three quieter defences do the work instead.
So what actually stops the spam?
A hidden field a person never sees and never fills in; a floor on how fast the form can plausibly be completed; and two rate limits, one per form and one per visitor. A bot that trips any of them is told the message was sent, and nothing is stored — telling it that it failed only makes it try again.
Can I stop other people embedding my form on their site?
Yes — list the domains you allow in the builder. Leave the list empty, which is the default, and the form works anywhere, which is what you want if you are sharing the link.
Pricing and billing
What does it cost?
A free 7-day trial, then Pro at $12 a month (₹1,200 on Indian pricing). Yearly billing works out at ten months for twelve. Full detail on the pricing page.
Why is the Indian price different?
$12 does not mean the same thing in every market. Rather than converting one number at the day's exchange rate, we set a deliberate price per region. You are billed in your own currency at a figure that does not move with the market.
What are AI credits, and do contact forms use them?
Contact forms never touch them. Credits are spent only by +Bot — the button in the corner of every signed-in screen — and only when it has to send a message to a model to understand something like "bill Acme for three days of design work". Typed commands such as
E 500 Petrol, Cash, Fuel are read by the software itself and are free, however many times you use them. What happens if I run out of credits?
Extra AI messages draw on top-up credits at $0.01 per extra chat (₹1 per extra chat on Indian pricing), and typed commands keep working for free. You are never forced onto a larger plan because of one busy month.
Do unused credits roll over?
No — the allowance resets each billing month.
How do I cancel?
In the dashboard, in a couple of clicks. No retention call, no email to write. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Can I get a refund?
The free trial exists so you can decide before paying. If something goes wrong after that, the refund policy sets out exactly where you stand.
Data, privacy and security
What data do you store?
The submissions your forms collect, the CRM contacts and notes built from them, and your invoices and ledger entries. That is what makes the product work.
Do you sell or share submission data?
No. We do not sell it and we do not feed it into public model training. That is in the terms, not only in the marketing.
Whose data is it — mine or the person who filled the form in?
The person who filled it in is your contact, not ours. You are the data controller for what your forms collect; we process it on your behalf. That distinction matters if you are answering a GDPR request, and the privacy policy spells out who does what.
Can a person's data be deleted?
Yes. You can delete submissions and contacts from your dashboard, and you can ask us to remove data for a specific person. See the privacy policy for how to make that request.
Where is data stored?
On our hosting infrastructure, encrypted in transit. If you have a specific residency requirement, talk to us before signing up rather than after.
